WOW Amsterdam
Curator & Cultural Programme manager
WOW Amsterdam is a cultural venue in Amsterdam-West. WOW offers temporary housing to fifty recently graduated artists, complementing the studios with a hostel, a restaurant and an urban farm. WOW acts as a springboard for talent and runs a dynamic arts programme.
At WOW Amsterdam, I managed the development and production of exhibitions, performances, and cultural programmes from concept to final delivery. My role combined project management with curatorial responsibilities, working closely with artists, designers, cultural partners, and institutions. I coordinated daily operations of the cultural programme, overseeing planning, logistics, budgets, and team coordination to ensure smooth execution of multiple projects running in parallel.
I also supported partnerships and funding applications, helping secure resources and long-term collaboration opportunities for the organisation. This position required balancing creative direction with operational structure, maintaining strong relationships with artists and stakeholders, and ensuring that each project reflected WOW’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and fostering cultural exchange.
