Hi, I’m Michela — a Creative Project Manager with experience in cultural production, creative operations, and multidisciplinary project coordination. I like bringing structure to creative environments, connecting people, and giving ideas the clarity they need to become something real.
My career started in Amsterdam, where I spent several years working in cultural institutions and creative organisations. At WOW Amsterdam, I coordinated exhibitions, events, and collaborations with artists and partners, and discovered how much I enjoy being at the centre of a project — keeping things organised, flowing, and aligned. Later, at Museumnacht Amsterdam, I helped manage a city-wide cultural event involving more than 50 institutions, focusing on stakeholder communication, accessibility, and audience outreach.
In 2021, alongside my friends and colleague Roman Ermolaev and Giuseppe Doronzo, I co-founded MARC Amsterdam, a small artistic research collective created to support hybrid forms of collaboration between artists, researchers, and partner institutions. MARC gave me the opportunity to develop projects from scratch, shape processes, and build meaningful working relationships — experiences that still inform how I approach creative teamwork today.
From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a Producer / Project Manager at Sonic Acts, coordinating exhibitions, performances, workshops, symposiums, and audiovisual productions. It was an intense and inspiring environment that strengthened my ability to manage complex timelines, budgets, logistics, and international teams — and to remain calm and solutions-focused when things get challenging.
Since 2025, I’ve been based in Formentera working as a freelance Project Manager for L’quipe, coordinating communication projects and photo/video productions for hospitality, lifestyle, and real estate clients. I design workflows, organise teams, and help studios gain clarity and efficiency so that creativity can breathe and deliver its best.
What motivates me most is creating environments where people work better together: clear workflows, honest communication, and processes that support rather than restrict. I care about the quality of the work, but also about the experience of getting there — about making projects feel manageable, collaborative, and enjoyable.
If you’d like to collaborate or simply say hello, feel free to reach out.
